Interested in Interesting Interests? How Interesting

I LOVE to draw!  I do mostly fashion design.  This is one I did today.  Sorry it is kind of blurry and small.  Click on it to make it bigger.

I really like her shirt!  It has a raindrop design!  Yes, it is a little bit odd, having a raindrop shirt, pearls, leaf belt, and stripe tights all in one, but I love it!  Drawing is so much fun!!!!!  I wish I could have every minute to do what I love.  Oh well, I do it whenever I can.  I have so many different interests, that it gets hard to remember to do some of them.  Whenever I am drawing or sculpting, or whatever else I do, I feel so happy!  I think that I want to have a little shop when I am older that I can sell all of my creations.  That would be so fun.  Have a good day people!  Really, be happy!

Good Day

Today was Jake's mission farewell.  It was pretty great!  Jake is such a great speaker, and he has the coolest, deepest, manly man voice ever.  Yes, quite so.  Becca and I sang next.  It was pretty good.  Our mom did an arrangement of  'I'll go where you want me to go'.  It is a gorgeous arrangement, and Becca and I have really similar voices, so we blend well.  Oh!, I am so excited for Sarah to come home so I can have my sisterly trio again!!!!!!!  Jake leaves in 9.5 days.  Wow, that is REALLY soon.  Anywho, it was good to see all of my family and Jake's friends.  Have a good Sunday!

Politically Correct Christmas

This is for all the politically correct people out there.  Enjoy

This is quite the greatest politically (kind of) correct Christmas song ever written.  Thank you Brad Paisley!

Thanksgiving

I really like Thanksgiving!  There is beautiful weather, you get to be with your family, eat amazing food, and show gratitude.  This year I am going to make a list of 1,000 things I am grateful for.  It is going to be great!  I will have to do about 167 each day, if I do it from today until Sunday.  I am really looking forward to this little challenge.  Guess I shouldn't call it a challenge, it is more like a reminder for me to think of all the things that I have in my life, and be grateful for them.  I know for a fact that my list will not be saying:  I am so grateful for the 17 pounds that I gained on Thursday.  Yeah, that will not be there.  Have a great holiday!

Have you seen this cat?

My cat, Asia, has been missing since yesterday morning, and I am extremely worried about her.  I think she might have been hit, but I am not sure.  If you see her around, please call me.  She is a small grey tabby, arches her back when you pet it, and has white paws and chin, no collar.  If you have seen a grey kitty wandering around Lehi, please call.

Reality sets in

Wow.  It is finally beginning to hit me that my life is going to have a few changes next month.  Jake leaves in 24 days, Nate gets home in 25, and Sarah gets home in 37 days!  Yeah, it is getting real.  Oh my gosh, they are actually coming home! I can count the weeks on one hand (and a finger)!  This is really getting exciting!  I am really dreading the day that Jake leaves.  I've gotten pretty close with him, and I have no idea what it will be like without him here.  Plus, we've already done the MTC drop off two times, and I don't really want to do it again.  Seriously, the missionary and parents get out of the car, get the luggage, and one last REALLY QUICK hug.  Then they are whisked away by the smiling missionaries, and then you don't see them for 18-24 months.  Oh well, I know it is for the Lord, but there is definitely some emotion.  It was weird because for like the week before Nate left, he seemed really depressed, so we were all depressed.  But when Sarah left, I went into her room, and we started jumping up and down in a circle singing, "I'm going on a mission, I'm going on a mission!''  She was so excited, so we were all excited too!  I didn't even cry until ten minutes before she was gone.  I am interested to see what it will be like when Jake leaves.  Ug, if we weren't getting a missionary back the next day, I would not be able to bear it.  Luckily, that is not the case!  So it will be a little easier to bear.  Haha!  We are taking up three Sacrament Meetings in these next months!  Can't wait!
I really do want to go on a mission!  After having missionary siblings and getting to read their amazing letters, it has made me realize what a blessing it is to go.  They have learned so much, and have learned so many things in the past two years, that I really would hate to miss out!  I think everybody should go on missions!

This is a conference talk given by sister Silvia H. Allred.  Enjoy!

Have a spiritual Sunday everybody!

Little Bird

This is a really pretty song by the weepies.  And this is a really cool animation too.  I just love this song!  I hope you like it too!

2011 Christmas list

Do you want to know my Christmas list?  Well, if you don't go away.

   A little yellow parakeet

and parakeet stuff.  That is all I want!  I just love birds!  They are so awesome, and it would be my best friend
ever!  Seriously.  That is all I want.  My dad thinks it is stupid.  He says they are messy and loud, but mine would be quite the most amazing little gentleman that says stuff, and can do cute tricks!  I just read a whole website devoted to parakeets, and I fell in love with them!  Words cannot describe the feelings of joy I would have if I got one!  Please Santa, please.

Is not this the cutest little guy you have ever seen?  To answer that question correctly, you would say "Yes Kate, that is the cutest darn thing I have ever seen, and I hope you two are happy together."  Thanks for that answer!  It was just what I was thinking.  Haha. So, if you would all put ''a little yellow parakeet for Kate'' on your Christmas wishlists this year, It would be most appreciated!  Thanks!  Have a good day of doing stuff!
