Make those negatives positive I say!

Today was a day that I did not care for.  Want to know why?  If you don't, go away.  (this starts out negative but gets better as it progresses)
  • It was the first day of the new semester.
  • I don't have a geography class anymore.  :(
  • I don't get my math homework.
  • I don't feel like being social, so when people talk to me, I get annoyed.  But they still don't know that they are annoying me, so they keep on talking.  Erg.
  • I don't have guitar lessons to look forward to tomorrow, 'cause I'm not taking anymore.
  • The weather is COLD.
  • I don't have any classes with one of my friends.
  • My computer isn't working (I'm on my dad's) so I can't post day 4 of my drawing challenge.
  • I miss my kitties.
  • I can't get the fingerprints off my guitar.  It looks kind of nasty.
I guess I just need to keep these seven words in mind:  "Life is hard and then you die"  A really wise person said that.  They knew that I would have days like this, where this quote would help it all make sense.
Wow.   This is a very negative post.  Okay, now I will try to make my list into things to be thankful for.  Here goes:
  • It was the first day of the new semester.  Now I have different people in my classes so I can make new friends.
  • I don't have a geography class anymore, but now I have a World Civilization class where I can learn about new and exciting things.  (that was pretty forced, I LOVED that class)
  • I don't get my math homework... I have no idea how to turn that into a positive.
  • I don't feel like being social, but at least I have friends that talk to me.
  • I don't have guitar lessons anymore, but I can practice on my own since I have some experience.
  • The weather is cold.  At least I don't have a painful sunburn.
  • I may not have classes with this particular friend, but now I might not get distracted/in trouble because I won't be talking to her during class.
  • My computer isn't working, but I have a lot of other computers at my house.  I am spoiled rotten.
  • I miss my kitties, but I have a heart, and I got to experience the good things that they brought to my life.
  • I can't get the fingerprints off my guitar, but at least I have a guitar, and I can still play it just as well as if it didn't have the fingerprints on.
There.  I don't feel so bad about myself now that I have turned my negatives into positives!  Is not me awesome? :)  I need to be a more positive person.  I am really good at being negative, but I need to learn how to turn them into positives.  This was a good way to start.  Hmm,  maybe I should keep a notebook with me at all times where I can write  away the negatives  (right the wrong--write the wrong)  ah ha ha ha.  I crack myself up (she said sarcastically).  Anywho, I hope you all can turn your negatives into positives today... and everyday.  Have a great day!
